Kingfisher

One of the most impresive birds in my opinion. Quite rare in Poland due to cold winters. Despite small size they are so precise flyers. As a pilot I think of him as a small Spitfire. What do you think?

He feeds of small fish. Sometimes he has more then one nest in late season to miximize effort. Siblings which are older helping parents with feeding younger birds.

Merganser - you can find in many places. In mazovia region they like calm river. They typical behaviour is stilling chicks from each other. Why? To maximize possibility to survive. In many there is power. I like to observe when chicks fighting for "first class ticket" ride on back of "parents".

Merganser & Grebe

Grebe - Poland has many places where Grebes are comming to breed. Whether mazuria region or south part of Poland lakes and calm rivers joints are the place where you can find those beatiful birds. They are good swimmers and divers. Very often you can find chicks travel on back of parents.

There are few types of Owls which are living in Poland. They are tough to spot, as they are typically night createtures.

Owl

Execptional flying skills and architecture of their wings makes them also silent hunters. When you spot one during the day, don't wake them up.

AFRICA

Of course wild life is not just birds. To see most you have to go further then your country. Most of them you can find in Africa.

Rhino

One of the big 5 - most dangerous animal in the world.

Endless landscapes with no limit of your imagination. Places where nature fights with our interference. Trying to live their lifes as we would not be arround.
